Patch 3.1 has been confirmed for today! I hope you’ve all been farming that Titansteel and those Enchant mats in readiness. I am now busy planning my dual spec set up. Woohoo!
It looks like the downtime for the patch has just been extended by two hours. We are expecting an update at 1pm PDT (4pm EST).

Ulduar coming in patch 3.1
Whenever new raid content is released, whether in a patch or in an expansion, theres is one profession that always profits from it. And that is enchanting. The reason is that all the raiding guilds will head straight into the new zone and start upgrading gear that they have been using since they put the previous raids on farm status. So there will be a glut of players needing high level enchants. This means enchants themselves and the mats for them will be hot for a while.
Another fun fact about raiding guilds when they head into a brand new instance is that they don’t want to take any chances with the new content. They might be doing Naxx without pots and consumables right now, but I guarantee they will all wat to be fully buffed with these for Ulduar for a while. This should mean a surge in demand for potions. These tips apply to any new raid content release.

Ahh, its new patch time again and that means plenty of opportunities to make gold that less observant folks will not have spotted. WoW entrepreneurs know that there are always profits hidden away in those patch notes and 3.1 is no exception. Read them carefully and you will see a few great ways to make fast gold in WoW.
One of things you should always look for is new crafting recipes. Look for those that have highly desirable products and that use mats which are currently cheap or at least affordable.

Titansteel - Its Gonna Be Big!
Titansteel is going to be big, believe you me. Blacksmiths won’t be able to get enough of this stuff so its going to be a great way to make gold in WoW after patch 3.1 goes live.
